After months of anticipation, it has now been released… the first look at Grant Gustin in his new Flash suit as filming for Flash is soon to begin!

  • THE FLASH stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen and The Flash
  • The costume for The Flash was designed by three-time Oscar® winner Colleen Atwood, who also designed the costume for ARROW and whose motion picture credits include Academy Awards® for her work on Alice in Wonderland, Memoirs of a Geisha and Chicago, as well as seven additional Oscar® nominations for films such as Snow White and the Huntsman, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street and Sleepy Hollow, among others
  • Production begins on THE FLASH pilot next week

Through a freak accident, scientist Barry Allen is given the power of super speed that transforms him into the Fastest Man Alive, in THE FLASH.

THE FLASH pilot is executive produced by Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and David Nutter (all of Arrow). Nutter is directing from a script by Berlanti & Kreisberg & DC Entertainment Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns.

THE FLASH is from Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television, and is based upon characters published by DC Comics.

    well the head portion of the suit looks pretty good, nice shape, and design colors are a bit darker then i would have liked and they came up with a good way to honnor the wings on the cowl while not sticking out. Cant wait to see what the rest of the suit looks like and hope they kept the Lighting bolt on the chest too and to see color for gloves/boots.

    It looks wicked and didn’t expect something so good from CW, this should be the movie suit (that good) and i expected something more simple like the Arrow costume but can’t fricking wait for this show, hope it gets picked up and runs for EVER!!! 😀

The final episode of The Flash is almost here! The series finale airs this Wednesday, May 24 and The CW has released some photos to promote it. Several of these were previously posted as exclusives at EW.com but are now seeing a wide release, and these don’t have any watermarks. Beware of some spoilers for “A New World Part Four” within, and hopefully more pictures are coming! It has been an honor and a privilege to share Flash photos with the fans over the years… thank you as always for visiting! UPDATE: A few more photos have been added to the gallery!

The CW has released one photo still to promote the penultimate episode of The Flash airing May 17! It’s called “A New World, Part Three” and that one still features Grant Gustin as The Flash, so hey, that’s good, right?
