TV Line today had a Fall Preview article which included our best look yet at The Flash’s Season 6 costume — and yes, it does feature the long-awaited return of the chin strap!
The TV Line piece also features a quote from showrunner Eric Wallace that teases that the incoming Crisis is “like stepping on a landmine.”
“All of a sudden the future is today, and that turns everything upside-down. You’ll see each member of Team Flash react in their own unique, and sometimes tragic, way.” he says.
Also in the piece: Caitlin will connect with Dr. Ramsey Rosso (this year’s villain played by Sendhil Ramamurthy of Heroes fame). He’s a renowned hematologist, but he’s destined to become the villain Bloodwork. TV Line also reveals that Iris will get into “a very deep mystery” as she builds the Central City Citizen, and that Tom Cavanagh’s new character is important not just to the first half of the season, but in a story that leads directly into the crossover. Is he already a pariah?
(It should also be noted that The Flash Season 6 – premiering October 8 on The CW – will be split into two halves, pre-Crisis and post-Crisis.)
You can take a look at Barry’s new look below, and again, you can find TV Line’s article here.
