Last season, the S.T.A.R. Labs Particle Accelerator exploded, creating a dark matter storm that struck forensic scientist Barry Allen — bestowing him with super-speed and making him the fastest man alive. But Barry wasn’t the only person who was given extraordinary abilities that night. The dark matter also created meta-humans — many of whom have wreaked havoc on the city. With the help of the S.T.A.R Labs team, Caitlin Snow, Cisco Ramon and Dr. Harrison Wells, Barry protects the people of Central City from these powerful new threats as The Flash. Following the defeat of Allen’s arch-nemesis Eobard Thawne (aka the Reverse-Flash), Team Flash must quickly turn their attention to the Singularity left swirling high above Central City, consuming everything in its path. Not only is the Singularity threatening the city with impending doom, but it’s also opened up a gateway to a parallel universe – a world where Barry Allen may not be the fastest man alive; but instead an unstoppable villain known as Zoom.
With Blu-ray’s unsurpassed picture and sound, The Flash: The Complete Second Season Blu-ray release will include 1080p Full HD Video with DTS-HD Master Audio for English 5.1. The 4-disc Blu-ray will feature a high-definition Blu-ray and a Digital HD copy of all 23 episodes from season one, as well as the Arrow crossover episode.

Martin (Law & Order). Based on the characters from DC Comics, The Flash is produced by Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. No, That Was Not Teddy Sears In The Flash Movie
Flash TV series actor Teddy Sears confirms that was not him playing Jay Garrick in The Flash movie.
SPOILER WARNING: The Warner Bros. Pictures film The Flash is being discussed in this post.
The Flash is currently speeding onto movie screens, and considering the box office, it might be speeding out of theaters just as fast, but there is one particular thing that fans of The Flash TV series have been wondering: Did we see a cameo of Teddy Sears as Jay Garrick in The Flash movie?
The answer is: No. TVLine did their due diligence in finding out from Sears himself what is going on.
“People kept telling me that I was in the new Flash movie…,” Sears told TVLine in an article posted on their website. “I mean, I’m sleep-deprived with a newborn at home, so my memory is a little foggy. But I’m pretty sure I would have remembered shooting a major DC Studios film.”
“Sadly, I’m not in this,” he continued. He did acknowledge that the likeness does look like him.
There are some other cameos – sadly, not Grant Gustin or John Wesley Shipp, either. The movie is currently playing in theaters worldwide. As for Teddy Sears? Look for him in the DC Animated feature Justice League: Warworld where he will voice Travis Morgan, a.k.a. The Warlord. That comes out in July.
The Flash Season 9 & Complete Series Blu-rays Announced
Flash Complete Series and Season 9 Blu-ray sets are coming out in August 2023.
The Flash: The Ninth and Final Season and The Flash: The Complete Series are both coming to Blu-ray and DVD on August 29. Extras for the Season 9 set have also been revealed, as has box art for both. The Complete Series box art is a bit odd: While it’s truth in advertising for the final seasons to have Cecile front and center, the lack of Carlos Valdes (Cisco) or Tom Cavanagh (as any Wells) is.. a choice.

Who Are Those New Characters At The End Of The Flash Finale?
FlashTVNews can tell you who played the new characters who were introduced at the end of the Flash finale.
The Flash has ended on the East Coast, and now you might be wondering who those characters might be as part of the “New World” Barry is talking about. He’s shared the lightning beyond his family, and now new speedsters will be out there in the world.
One of those new folks we met before: Avery Ho. In the comics, Avery is the Flash of China, and she first appeared in the comics in 2016. On the show, though, we saw her in the Season 8 episode “Obsessive Impulsive Disorder” as someone working at Fast Track Labs; she returned for a phone call with Meena Dhawan in “The Man in the Yellow Tie.” Playing her was actress Piper Curda who fans might know from I Didn’t Do It and Legacies.
Next up: Max Mercury. A character from comics’ Golden Age who went by a number of names back in the day, Mark Waid brought him back for his celebrated and excellent Flash comics run of the 1990s. Trevor Carroll plays Max Mercury in the Flash finale. In addition to acting, Trevor Carroll is an award-winning director for a short film called No Reservations. He could also recently be seen on Resident Alien.
The third new “Flash” type character we see here is Jess Chambers, introduced in DC’s “Future State” initiative and also seen in the Multiverse: Teen Justice comic book series. Sometimes using the name “Kid Quick,” Jess is a non-binary character. The role of Jess Chambers here is played by Hana Destiny Huggins, who just might be the “Hana Huggins” that IMDb has a listing for whose credits include an upcoming film called It’s A Wonderful Knife.
Shall we ever see these characters again in live-action? We certainly hope there is someday an opportunity to see them ride the lightning….
